About Loftia Codex
What is Loftia Codex?
A fan made database for Loftia that contains every item, quest, npc, recipe, decoration and anything else you could imagine!
Is Loftia Codex official?
No. It is a fan project and is not affiliated with Loftia or Qloud Games.
Where does the information come from?
From the game itself. Every patch the website goes through a series of extractors and validators to present data as accurately as possible. I also withhold certain data that is new or ambiguous until I verify it myself in-game.
How often is it updated?
After every Loftia update. Though it requires my manual approval and redeployment, which may lead to delay sometimes! I do this to prevent chaos of broken information or to respect the developers' request to withhold information if asked.
Is there a Loftia wiki?
Loftia Codex itself is a wiki and database. It will contain 95% of everything you need! The only major difference is I do not write pages with commentary unless it is to clear up ambiguity or explaining an obscure mechanic. If there is ever another wiki project that provides more verbose hand written articles I will happily link to it!

When will Loftia be released?
Early Access launches on November 3, 2026 at 1pm EST. Before that, a free demo runs during Steam Next Fest from October 19 to 26, and demo progress carries over into Early Access. loftia.ggBluesky
What platforms will Loftia be available on?
Steam on PC and Mac at launch, with Nintendo Switch to follow. Controllers and keyboard and mouse are both supported. Intel Macs are not supported. loftia.gg
Will Loftia support the Steam Deck?

Will Loftia support mobile or other consoles?
Nintendo Switch is coming after the PC and Mac launch. The developers hope to bring Loftia to more platforms later, including mobile and other consoles. loftia.ggKickstarter
How much will Loftia be upon Early Access release?
$29.99 USD, with regional pricing. There is a limited-time 17% launch discount to $24.89. loftia.gg
Will Loftia be free to play, or paid?
Paid. Loftia is buy-to-play. loftia.gg
Will the game have microtransactions?
Only optional cosmetics and a cosmetic season pass. All gameplay comes with the one-time purchase. loftia.gg
Will Loftia have any subscriptions?
No. Some platforms, such as Nintendo Switch, need their own online subscription. loftia.gg
Will there be paid DLC/Expansions?
None are planned. New content is free for everyone who owns the game. loftia.gg
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
The Early Access price is lower. The price may go up closer to 1.0. Steam
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
About one year. The 1.0 date depends on community feedback. Steam
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
A storyline across Loftia City, the Hanging Gardens and the Gridfall, skills and perks, cosmetics, island building, the community farm and adventure islands. Steam
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
1.0 adds the Study Cafe, Player Markets and Clubs, followed by content updates with new areas and stories. Steam
Does my character save between Alpha and Early Access?
Server wipes stop at Early Access, and character data is kept from then on. Anything bought or earned as a Kickstarter reward is never lost. Kickstarter
Do I have to back or pay again to get the full release?
No. Kickstarter game keys for Alpha or Early Access carry forward to the full release. Kickstarter
Will there be cross platform play?
It is being tested but not promised. The game has to be bought on each platform you play on. loftia.gg
Will I be able to play with friends?
Yes, with as many friends as you like. loftia.gg
Can I play by myself, if I don't enjoy playing together with others?
Yes. Almost all content can be played solo. loftia.gg
Will I need to be online to play Loftia? Will it support offline play?
Loftia is always online. There is no offline play. loftia.gg
Does Loftia have servers?
Yes. Players on the same server play together, and you are not locked to one server. loftia.gg
Will Loftia be translated and playable in additional languages?
14 languages at Early Access launch, with more such as Traditional Chinese and Polish planned. loftia.gg
Is character customization gender locked?
No. Characters have no set gender and can be fully customized. loftia.gg
Will we be able to romance characters in Loftia? What about romancing other players?
Not at this stage. Friendships with characters are planned for a later update. loftia.gg
Is Loftia a game for kids? Who is the target demographic?
It is suitable for all ages. Most of the community is 18 to 45. loftia.gg
Will there be a physical release?
Early Access is digital only. A physical release may come later. loftia.gg
