Magnificent Flying Machines

It was inevitable that Loftians would start getting interested in other islands. To stop anyone flinging themselves off the side of the city with nothing more than an <Resource>umbrella</> and a <Resource>dream</>, I decided that we needed to start exploring new methods of travel.

We started the travel tests with a group of Loftians that had all been briefed with proper safety procedures and equipped with a parachute. After testing various methods that all used variations of ‘throwing’, ‘launching’ and ‘tossing’ we decided on the <Highlight>Aerial Tramway system</> that we dubbed the Airtram. — Cliff
