Living with the Land

There was a time when a little grove like this wouldn’t have lasted a week. Someone would’ve called it “unused land,” cleared it out, poured concrete on top. Back then, the land was something to wrestle into shape.

Turns out, the land keeps receipts. Ignore the <Resource>soil</>, the <Resource>water</>, the <Resource>roots</> under your feet, and eventually everything collapses. We’ve learned it the hard way...
